If you’re looking for a great everyday - Work - Security light, I think this one can be a good choice for you .
There’s direct access to strobe. But more importantly, would be direct access to turbo. When you need a lot of light and you need it now (military and law enforcement), that tail switch needs to activate turbo every time. Having it recall the last used mode means that instead of blinding an aggressor, you could be hitting him with a measly 10 lumens. I really like everything else about this light and I think it’s great for outdoorsmen.
Love this light! I actually purchased it for my father for use on walks and around the house, but of course I had to take it for a test drive first! I can't think of any real complaints I have. The optional tactical ring that's included seemed kinda loose when I installed it, but maybe it's supposed to be that way, I have no idea because I've never had one. I will say that it was cool to have the option of holding it in different ways though. I know pops won't put it on though, lol! The things that he likes most are the brightness, ease of use, ease of charging and general high level of quality. Pops is 80 years old now, and I needed whatever I gave him to be easy for him to understand so that he likes it and actually uses it. Well I done good! He loves it and so do I!
The finger ring and tail button make this light very tactile but the finger ring is removable without taking away from the looks of the light. The tail button is how you initially turned the light on, and the side button set your brightness levels. Turbo is remembered in memory once shutting the light off from the tail switch. This light comes with a very nice holster that has an opening on each end that allows you to switch the light on and it will shine perfectly out the other end because the holster is on a heavy duty plastic mount that ratchet swivel and you can turn it while on your belt and point it in the direction you want it to go and walk with the light or use it without even taking it out of the holster a very unique set up.
I really like this light- it's one of my new favorites! First of all it's extremely bright and the beam pattern is perfect. It throws a TON of light and so far the battery life is very good. I do also like the very easy to use and simple interface. The magnetic charging port is very cool- the only downside is having a specialized cable to carry. The packaging was very nice and they included an awesome, really nice quality belt holder. I installed the tactical ring to try it out but didn't really like it being on the light so I took it off. Overall top quality product that is easy to use and performs admirably relative to much more expensive options. Very pleased!
