I am very grateful for the attempt to resolve my problem.

My problem is that the magnetic charging cord doesn't work. Both my new cord (thank you very much) and my original cord don't pass curent into the torch despite reading a correct voltage at the magnetic connector.. I think there must be a fault with the charging port on the torch. But at lest I can still use the torch by charging the battery externally.

I got the battery in time as expected but unfortunately, it was my Brinyte PT18 that was defective. I am so grateful to Brinyte for sending me a replacement PT18 as they promised. still waiting for it to arrive and give another great review. Kudos Brinyte.
