I recieved this light and was impressed right away. The knurling finish I noticed right away. Gives the light an expensive look. That is all cosmetically nice but the performance stood out also. I have a large backyard maybe 200 feet long and 100 feet wide and it easily lit it all up with a nice wide spot. The beam distance was impressive for the with of the beam. A nice white light. A manageable size for an every day carry ( EDC) type of light. One feature I liked was the small light that lights up on the switch when the light is on. This makes it easy to find the switch when using in a dark environment. I have had it for a few weeks now and used it mostly on evening dog walks. No buyers remorse here.
I don't know why but I am a suckered for a light that has moonlight mode it does just what it's intended to just a but of light so it's not pitch black and you can perform your tasks. Moonlight is good but you will have 4 other levels ready to go after moon which will be low, medium, high, and turbo. Light weight and easy carry material make this great for an edc light but can also be a great light to leave on the counter to run outside and not be in the dark. Another feature I enjoy when a tail click switch is not there is a nice magnet for hands free use. If the power goes out you can use it while tail standing or find a metal object and attach, I use a over head or vent frame. Great light for all the features it has and looking forward to adding some more brinyte lights to my collection
Brinyte E18 a great edc flashlight if your looking for one, I would highly recommend the user interface is pretty simple, low medium high and turbo. You can lock the flashlight by clicking 5 times fast so it doesn’t turn on accidentally in your pocket. The usb recharging is very convenient and think all flashlights should utilize this technology because 18650 chargers aren’t everywhere. The build quality is really good and to me one of the most important part, the clip. It has very good tension and doesn’t chew up your nice pair of jeans. The magnetic tail cap is a must if you fix cars because sometimes my hands are full and just stick it to the underside of the hood. The button has a solid, tactile click that feels like quality and also has a light indicator that tells your battery capacity. The beam and emitter is the perfect edc choice, it has the perfect amount of flood and throw in a small package. Overall I think it’s a great, high quality flashlight and would recommend it to anyone.
The construction of Brinyte E18 Pheme is very sturdy and precise. The machined aluminum is very smooth to touch and gives the right amount of heft needed to handle such an equipment. The overall build quality is very reasonable and upscale. Upfront surrounded in the metal shinny bezel is the lens which houses the LED. The LED on the Brinyte E18 Pheme has a staggering 1200 lumens of brightness and a throw range of about 220 meters. Those are some amazing numbers considering a device which is hardly 4.6 inches in length and weighs about an average cell phone. Bottom of the E18 Pheme contains a magnet and grip which cleverly acts an anchoring ridge when the torch is placed at a flat surface and prevents it from rolling. User interface is very basic and easy to use on the front of the flashlight.
Pocket clip is very nice with deep carry design it's one of the best clips i've had on a flashlight.
Good UI with nice spacing of brightness for diffent levels. Hidden 'moonlight' with hold from off. 2 press for high.
On board usb-c charging is a nice feature, along with the cap design to protect the plug from water.
