Brinyte XP22MK3 Scorpion: Low-Profile Weapon Light & Green Laser Combo for AR-15

Great upgraded model! I had the XP22 model prior to ordering the XP22 MK3. The MK3 has some great upgrades including the laser function! The low profile and dual headed light sits very nicely on both firearms I tried mine on so far. Super bright with its 1,600 lumens! You can see by the photo I have attached how bright the light is even at a distance. Super reasonably priced for the function and quality making this a great value. The laser adds daylight function which is pretty great. I was at the range for quite some time and the battery never died. Recharging is very simple with the magnetic charging cable and port. The push buttons are easy to access and find without having to take your eyes off from the target. I could easily take it on and off the weapon in under a minute. All in all, I would recommend checking this weapons light out if you like an easy to use, very bright, multifunction light.

There is a lot to like, but my favorite part about this light is the magnetic USB charging feature. It's like the old MacBooks. You could leave the charger connected, and when you grab the light in a hurry (and whatever it might be attached to), the cable just drops off. No problem.The light has 2 LED emitters, aimed such that in normal use it seems like 1 bright light. It seems very decently bright for what I was using it for, in a dark garage or backyard. It definitely lights up trees 2 backyards away, but not 3. I guess that means - in my opinion - it is good bright lighting for up to 180 feet but not 250 feet. Really that's probably perfect for its intended use. Did not cast any weird shadows but did light up whatever I aimed at really well.I left the light running for an hour and it was still going strong and it did not get hot. That's where I thought it would make the most sense. I planned to operate with index finger. But – surprise! I liked it much better mounted on top rail. Thumb operated on top rail was easier than index finger operation on bottom rail. Thumb & flashlight body was not visible through optic. It was easy to mount to the rail, just loosen (but do not try to remove) the square side knob & depress it so it expands over the rail. Release & twist to snug up the knob. Once installed it totally looks like a part that belongs there.I took the light over to a friend's BBQ and he wanted to check it out. When mounted on his rail, with his optic, his off thumb knuckle would be slightly visible in the lower 1/3 scope sight picture, but only when pushing the button. So we tried it on all 4 sides. Surprise again! We liked it best mounted on the left side rail (for a right handed person).Operating the button with the left thumb when mounted to the left side was in our opinion, way better than the other locations. We thought that mounting the light on the (left) support side felt more ergonomic.If you wanted to mount this light to a handheld that has a rail, it probably will not fit. The rail will be about 2 inches too short.It could be a nice bicycle light too, if your bike has a Picatinny rail.​Bottom line: I like it, and everybody I showed this light to wants one.

This company is known for quality lights. All of the ones I have purchased from them are excellent! This light does not disappoint! It fits perfectly onto my rail and shines out there a great distance and lights things up very well. It's great that with the new one I'll be able to put center sights on it. I just want steel sights only for that rifle.The pictures you see where I'm closer to the wall I took an hour and a half apart. I took the first picture with a full charge and the second picture I took after the light had been left on for an hour and a half. It did not feel hot at all. I can hold it in my hand very easily and it wasn't even warm after an hour and a half.On the distance picture my camera was zoomed in a bit and I couldn't fix it.I love how it just has one brightness and a strobe. That brightness as you can see from the picture I took stays very consistent throughout the life of the battery. The other lights that I've had dim as the battery life goes out. This one seems to stay consistent from the first turn on until I charged it again.They have hit a home run with this light! I love how there are no cords dangling to get caught in anything or to have to tape down. There's not a switch to fall off your rail, and it’s lightweight and bright. You can get a lot of lights out there that say they're a thousand lumens but when you compare them with a really good light with a thousand lumens you can see that the cheap ones really aren't that bright. This one is 1,300 lumens and shines out there a long ways and brightens everything up. It works great for my needs!What else could you ask for? It’s easy to deploy the light and easy to turn it off. Not only does it work well but it looks pretty bad ass also. It’s low profile which will be great for my sites. I really can’t think of anything that I would change on it. It’s perfect! I’ve dealt with this company before and it’s a great company to work with.
